I already backed something physical during the Kickstarter campaign. Do I need to do anything else to get the Retro Vice Dice?
No, you don’t need to do anything else! As long as you backed the campaign while it was live on Kickstarter (Between May 5th 2026 at 10 am ET, and June 3rd at 11:59 pm ET), no matter what time you backed, you will be able to receive the Free Retro Vice Dice as long as your pledge includes anything physical.

I am a Neon Odyssey VIP. How do I get my VIP-Exclusive Neon Nights Dice?
If you are a Neon Odyssey VIP (meaning that you signed up via our pre-launch program and made your $1 reservation) you must back the Kickstarter campaign and your pledge must include any physical item. If you’ve done that, you’re all set for now.
After the campaign concludes, you will receive a Backerkit survey. In that survey, you will have the chance to enter the email address you used to sign up for the VIP program (Before you do so, please verify that you received the VIP Welcome email to the correct email).
You will then be able to opt-in to receive the Neon Nights Dice in that survey, acknowledging that it will increase the cost of shipping. We can then cross reference our VIP database, and if the emails match and you opted-in to receive the dice, we will add the Neon Nights Dice to your order!

I backed the Kickstarter campaign in the first 72 hours. How do I get my free set of Synth Sunset Dice?
You’re all set if your pledge includes anything physical during the Kickstarter Campaign! Here’s how it works:
- You backed the Kickstarter during the early backing period (between 10am ET, May 5th 2026, and 10am ET, May 11th 2026).
-In our pledge manager, we’ll identify all backers who pledged during the early backing window whose pledge included anything physical.
-Backers in that group will have a question in their Backerkit survey allowing them to opt-in to receive the Free Synth Sunset Dice, acknowledging it will increase the cost of shipping.
Important Note: If you couldn’t back the Kickstarter within the first 72 hours, don’t worry! You can still get a set of the Synth Sunset Dice as a paid addon.

Which version of D&D is Neon Odyssey designed for?
Neon Odyssey is written for D&D 5.5e, also known as D&D 5e 2024 rules. There is a single version of Neon Odyssey, but as with all 5.5e content, it is compatible with D&D 5e (2014).

When will I be charged?
You will be charged at some point within the calendar month that you made your purchase. This charge will not include taxes or shipping.
If you’ve picked a physical reward, remember that you’ll still need to cover shipping (check our estimated prices) and any applicable sales tax. Shipping and taxes will be charged shortly before your order is ready to ship.
The exact amount that you will owe for taxes and shipping will depend on your order, location, and local tax rates.
Backerkit will calculate these costs for you automatically when we get closer to shipping your order to you and you will be notified via email when these charges are ready to be paid.

Is tax and shipping included in the price?
No. Tax and shipping is not included in any of the prices. Tax and shipping will be calculated and charged at a later date when Neon Odyssey is ready to fulfill to ensure the most accurate pricing.

I pledged at the All-In Box tier. How will you get my name for the Name Credit in the books?
Having your name credit in the books is only available to those customers that ordered the All-In tier during the Kickstarter campaign (from May 5, 2026 at 10 am ET through June 3, 2026 at 11:59 pm ET). If you purchased the All-In tier through the Backerkit pre-order store your purchase does not include a name credit in the books.
For those that did purchase the All-In tier during the Kickstarter campaign, you will receive a survey from Backerkit which will include a question where you can input your preferred name to be used in the Name Credit section of the book.
There is a character limit so please try to keep your requested name credit as short as possible.
Please be aware that we reserve the right to not include your requested name in the credit section if it is too long, inflammatory, offensive, or for any additional reason we deem necessary.

Are there limited quantities of any of the products?
Only the signed trilogies are limited in quantity. The Signed Core Trilogy is limited to 500 and the Signed Deluxe Trilogy is limited to 250. No other add-ons or tiers are limited in quantity.

Can I change my pledge tier?
Yes, as long as your survey is not locked and you have not already been charged for your purchase.
Once your survey is locked and your purchase has been charged you will no longer be able to make changes on your own and will need to reach out to our Help Team at [email protected] to have your survey unlocked.
Please be aware that should you want to downgrade your purchase we are unable to issue a refund and you will instead receive a credit that can be used toward other items in the Neon Odyssey pre-order store.

Can I swap out the Space Explorer Resin Dice to a different dice set in the Core and Deluxe Boxes?
No. All boxes are kitted out the same and no dice swaps can be made.

What products are signed by the Legends of Avantris cast?
The ONLY signed products are the Signed Hardcover Trilogy (Max 250) and the Signed Deluxe Trilogy (Max 100). Both of these products are Add-On Only and not included in any pledge tiers. If you want signed books, you must get them as an add-on. And once the quantities run out, they are gone forever.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
