Hey gang,

What a wild couple of days it's been. The whole Avantris team is so appreciative of the support, love, and enthusiasm that you have poured into this campaign. It's been so cool to see people being emotionally touched by the music video, creating dozens of characters they want to play, chatting about the setting in the Discord, and more. And now I have some updates! 

$7 Million Worth of Stretch Goals! 

We JUST his $7 Million raised, and it hasn't even been 72 hours yet! And with funding goals hit, that means awesone new stretch goals unlocked! Thus far, you all have unlocked 21 Stretch Goals! To put it in perspective, The Crooked Moon had 17 Stretch Goals Total. And because your support has shattered even our highest expectations, we're already cooking up fun new stretch goals for later on in the campaign! 

So far, we've unlocked:

• New Faction Reputation System
• Racing Power-Up System Upgrade

Our friend Pointy Hat, one of the best creators in D&Dtube, went on a dangerous mission into the depths of Cacophony and survived! He has a video doing a deep dive on the hellish realm and the fiendish Discordant that dwell there! Check out his video that features a ton of previously unrevealed Neon Odyssey concept art and snag some free gameplay material including the Motlien Species and Murder Clown Monster!

Neon Odyssey Is Funded! We Hit $2.25 Million in an Hour! New Music Video Featuring the Midnight!

Hey all,

Mikey here! I'm typing this as we are live on stream right now, but I am thrilled to kick off our very first update after launch! Let's dive right in.

Neon Odyssey Hit $2.25 Million in an Hour!

Wow. We did it, folks. We crashed Kickstarter. 

We are beyond speechless. Thank you all so much for all of the incredible support. We cannot begin to describe what an emotional rollercoaster this entire 2+ year voyage has been. 

Back in October 2023, we launched our first Kickstarter, The Crooked Moon, and hit $1 Million in 6.5 hours. This time around, we smashed that record and hit $1 Million in under 20 minutes. And as of writing this, we are approaching $3 Million in over 2 hours. To say this is surreal is an understatement.

None of us could have foreseen this when we first started this journey of striving to achieve our dreams of making games back in 2022. Since then, our lives have completely changed and we have learned multiple lifetimes of lessons about tabletop publishing that we're applying to make the best possible Space Opera trilogy that we can.

Fully Animated Music Video Featuring the Midnight

We're absolutely thrilled to announce that we partnered with our favorite band in the world, The Midnight, to create an anthem for Neon Odyssey. We also partnered with DoigSwift and Knights of the Light Table to turn that anthem into a beautifully animated music video that was more than two years in the making!
